We have just completed several thousand dollars of mechanical repairs and maintenance. The repairs include the following, replaced the oil level sender, replaced both the left and right motor mounts, installed a new sub frame mount kit, replaced the timing chain, replaced the timing chain tensioner, replaced both the left and right valve cover gasket, installed new spark plugs, the big one piece oil pan gasket was also replaced. The repairs were performed by a independent shop that specialises in Mercedes Benz service. This is a very solid car. One last thing we do not photoshop our pictures what you see are honest unaltered pictures.

Thanks for looking at our 1987 Mercedes Benz 560 SL. Please view the free Carfax report included with our listing. If I had one more spot in the garage at home this car would not be for sale. The body is very very straight down the sides. I do believe the car has been repainted sometime since it was new, the exterior is just to nice to be the original twenty five year old paint. Whoever did the paint did a way above average job. Only minimal wear is present inside the car, the drivers seat bolster has some minor wear that is easily repaired. At this time the factory radio is not working. The black softtop is in very good condition with only minimal distortion in the windows. We do have the original Mercedes Benz first aid kit and it is complete. The wood around the radio and gear shifter is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. The dash pad appears to be original with no cracks or buckles. The hardtop has two very small one centimeter pimples. There is also one dime size ding in the decklid. The only non factory equipment I see on this car is a aftermarket Escort or K40 radar detector in the center console area. This is a nice older SL please call or email with any questions.
